Fringe Shutter Collective

Fringe Shutter Collective is a group of Sydney-based artists, whose contemporary practice encompasses a multitude of genres within the photographic field.

Their work covers many aspects of their experience, from whimsical observational frames to urban exploration and documentary photography. By exploring the concepts of sameness and difference inherent in the societies where they find themselves, the collective displays the diversity of communities, and the ability of the photographic medium to exploit the notion that there are moments of truth and of deception.
